12/25/05-- Merry Christmas!! Gaze upon the newest example of blashphemy. Hee. Most recent stuff's at the top. Enjoy!

Happy Merry ChristRamKwanzukah! *snerk* I've been planning this scene for a while. I've actually got an older version, different scene, that I never finished coloring. Maybe I'll do that...

I'd always planned on dressing Pip up as Robin, if for no other reason that she's totally got the same hair as Cartoon Network's anime-inspired Robin. Plus, I couldn't imagine her being anyone else...Maybe WonderGirl, but then she wouldn't get a cape! Though there is that lasso...

I was gonna put the Falconer as Starfire, but then I was like "Noo, amusing as that may be, she's totally Raven-personality. I figured high heels were punishment enough. Plus there's the whole bird-association thing...

Hee...Daemos, as usual, took a bit of thought. I really wanted to wedge him into Starfire's armor, but for practicality's sake figured he would only allow himself the simplest of costumes: A screen tee and jeans, as he puts it. Besides, he already had Superboy-type powers (well, except extended flight, heat vision, telekinesis...)

*snerk* Oh yeah, if Octavian had superpowers, he'd definitely want super-speed. Not only could he zip away from his problems, but imagine how fast he'd translate and scribe down texts!

In keeping with my love of stained glass windows, I decided to try and do the BoF characters ala window-style. Octavian was the first.

The Falconer's window. Boy I loved drawing this--coloring it, however, was a pain in the butt due to my over-enthusiasm for the many tiny shade-lines. I'm still not sure if I like the green background that much, but am far too lazy to really try and do anything about 'em.

This was drawn in Thailand! (see, I was doing something. Nyah.) I'd wanted to add all the characters I had so far put in the strip all around, but couldn't fit 'em. And yeah, I know Octavian's arm is wonky.

Remember that one strip "Der Wiener Junger Chorale" I put up way back in like '03? Well, I re-found it, along with the second half. And I got to thinking, "These guys make me laugh. They need an upgrade." So now they're all cool-looking. Here's Luke and John.

Der Wiener Junger Chorale's Matthew and Mark. Gosh they're pretty...

This was actually an alternative BoF logo to the one that's up on the Main Page now. I figured a rose window motif might be better. It wasn't.

Drawn at ACEN while waiting for Scott McNeill, I was so thrilled when I punched Death out in 2 hours. I felt kinda bad because I hadn't drawn any of the Hell crowd in a long time...and look, they just fell right back into place. I love his little heart bowl.

Drawn my last night at ACEN, Death sort of inspired me. Hence, Avir's re-tooled form as well.

Entitled "Famine's Child." So awesome; while constructing this, I summarily creeped out anyone who looked over my shoulder. The fact that Avir is just kinda floating in mid-air amuses me as well.

After reading loads and loads of the manga "Fake," the drawing style inspired me, and so I redesigned Aridele from "Wranglers." He looks much cuter now...decided to put in a little color for the heck of it.

This here's a very recent drawing I did of Daemos "shifting" between his human guise and his true form.

This is what started it all, along with "Vallerjo" and "Marvista". These were character designs I came up with back at the end of 2002. Vallerjo came first, then Aridele, then Marvista. And, of course, once they were drawn I just had to make up a story to go with them.

Medium: Sakura ink pens, colored pencils

The first-ever Vallerjo picture! And, as you can see, they were originally just inked, but I had new colored pencils and simply couldn't wait to try them out...

First concept drawing of Marvista, also later colored.

As promised, a colored picture of the whole Band of Four group! My second try was better than the first, I think, and I hope to get even better with practice... once I find the time that is.

Medium: Sakura ink pens, Adobe Photoshop 6.0 (gotta love it!)
Date: drawn early October, colored Oct. 23, 2003
The first-ever Falconer, drawn a way-long time ago. In all honesty, I sort of drew her around the snowy owl, which I drew from a picture in a wildlife book, but I liked her so much I decided to incorporate her into my comic.

An initial dynamic group shot of the Wranglers crew. Please forgive the odd perspectives, etc.

Yeesh...very old inked picture of a young novice Octavian being tutored by Julian on the Bible. I like the background I did, but that's it. *shudders*

I'll upload more pictures and whatnot when I can find 'em, and will also be more than happy to post any fanart that may be sent my way...*ahem ahem*
